One panel, many layouts: On the Dacapo Wall the leaflet pockets are not fixed but hang in milled slots in the panel. They can be unhooked, moved and hooked back in without tools and without leaving a mark on the panel. Anyone needing eight A6 pockets in spring and four A5 in autumn simply rearranges them.
Three formats on the same wall: The milled slots take all three pocket sizes, that is A4, A5 and A6. You can therefore mix: two A4 at the top for the main brochures, a row of A6 beneath for flyers. That is the advantage over a holder committed to a single format.
The pockets: They are injection moulded and hold their shape. Unlike glued acrylic pockets there are no seams to come apart over time. The material also takes the daily grip with which leaflets are pulled out.
Mounting with a template: A mounting template is supplied with the panel. You press the drilling points through the template onto the wall and drill there, instead of measuring and marking beforehand. On a panel 1450 millimetres wide that is the difference between a level and a crooked installation.
Pixfix as the fixing: The panel is held by the Pixfix fixing system. It sits behind the panel, is invisible from the front and can be taken off again for cleaning or rearranging.
Sizes and layout: There are two panel heights. The shallower one at 300 millimetres takes a single row, meaning eight A6, four A5 or four A4. The taller one at 500 millimetres takes two rows, so eight A5 or eight A4.
Colours: The aluminium composite panel comes in black, white and matt silver. White disappears against a pale wall and lets the leaflets do the work, black draws a frame around the area, matt silver sits between the two and suits aluminium fittings elsewhere in the room.
Where it belongs: Indoor areas with public traffic. Reception areas, waiting zones, foyers, surgeries. Mounted at eye level the upper pockets get used and the lower ones overlooked. Set the bottom edge somewhat higher, therefore, than the middle of the wall would suggest.
This item in detail: The height is 300 mm and the width 1450 mm. At this size the surface carries longer text and full lists without the type having to shrink. The panel takes 8 pockets in A6 format, and the pockets can be moved freely within the milled slots. The finish is white. The weight is 6 kg, which matters for both the fixing and the shipping. The panel is drilled using the template supplied. Check the dimensions and finish against what you already have before ordering, because the items in this range differ in exactly those points.
