Material: Toughened safety glass, four millimetres thick, with bevelled and polished edges. If it breaks it falls into blunt granules, which is the decisive point on larger areas at head height.

Lettering: Direct printing, a laminated film, or a paper insert sandwiched between two panels. On the larger formats direct printing is usual, because an insert that size ripples over time.

Distance from the wall: The holders set the panel a few millimetres off the wall. The resulting shadow gap makes the glass appear to float and is practical too, since moisture behind the panel can dry off.

What to order with it: Count the holders per panel. Four are enough for the smaller format; the larger should have six, otherwise the surface visibly bows in the middle.

Care: Glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Do not release the clamping points for cleaning; clean the panel where it hangs.

Aligning during installation: Fit the upper holders first, hang the panel and align it before marking the lower ones. The other way round the spacing almost never matches, because the glass itself sets the tolerance.

Handling: Toughened glass is strong across the face and sensitive at the edges. Do not stand a panel on a hard floor while working; a knock on the corner will break it sooner than pressure on the surface.
