From fixed to mobile: A display that can be moved gets used differently from one that stands still. It travels to wherever the audience is and gets out of the way for cleaning. These castors retrofit exactly that without needing a new base.
TPU tread: The thermoplastic polyurethane tread is why the castor runs quietly and leaves no marks. Hard plastic wheels press into vinyl and linoleum over time and squeal on tiles; TPU does neither.
35 millimetres in diameter: Deliberately kept small. The castor stays unobtrusive under the structure and raises it only slightly, so the proportions of the display are preserved. For thresholds and carpet edges a larger diameter suits better.
Housing: Polyamide in black. The material is tough enough for continuous use and does not rust, which makes it usable in damp areas such as entrance zones.
How many: Four per structure. Three castors wobble less on uneven floors but make a rectangular frame unstable. On larger frames consider six.
When loading: A display on castors should not be loaded top-heavy. Weight belongs low down, otherwise the structure tips as it crosses a threshold.
Braking: These castors run free. Where a display is to stay in one place, position it against a wall or in a corner rather than relying on it to stand still by itself.

Wear: Castors wear at the tread, not at the axle. A wheel that has gone flat on one side has usually stood loaded in one position for a long time; turning the structure occasionally avoids that.
