The photo stand 11 x 9 cm is a landscape format in the 4:3 aspect ratio, the standard format of smartphone cameras and compact cameras. At 11 x 9 cm it is the smallest landscape format in the range and fits on any corner of the desk. The stand is a frameless picture frame made of crystal-clear PLEXIGLAS® XT, 2.0 mm thick; the picture fills the surface edge to edge, without frame, backing board or clips.
Construction and handling: Base and pane are one single bent piece, the footprint measures roughly 11 x 6.5 cm. To insert a picture, slide it in from the top behind the inclined pane until it sits on the lower edge; it holds without clips and can be swapped just as quickly. Four anti-slip feet under the base keep the stand in place. At 60 g the stand is light enough for the windowsill and stable enough for the desk.
Material: The pane is made of original PLEXIGLAS® XT, an acrylic glass that is UV-stable and does not yellow. It lets through more light than window glass and is considerably more break-resistant. The edges are diamond-polished, so crystal clear instead of milky. A soft cloth and water are all it takes to care for it; cleaners containing alcohol or abrasives attack the surface and do not belong on acrylic glass.
Typical applications: The small format belongs where large frames get in the way: next to the keyboard, on the bedside cabinet, on the bookshelf between the spines. Fitted with a photo, the stand is a gift that can be set up straight away. In the shop it holds price tags and product notes, in the café the menu of the day or the QR code to the menu, at weddings the table numbers.
The right size: 11 x 9 cm is the landscape counterpart of the 9 x 11 cm stand and takes a small phone photo in landscape, for example next to the keyboard or on the bedside table. The 4:3 range comprises 11 x 9, 13 x 10, 15 x 11, 17 x 13, 27 x 20 and 40 x 30 cm. For prints from DSLR and mirrorless cameras in 3:2 landscape format there are sizes from 13 x 9 to 45 x 30 cm.
