The photo stand 13 x 9 cm is the landscape format in the 3:2 aspect ratio delivered by 35 mm film, DSLR and mirrorless cameras. 13 x 9 cm is the smallest classic print, set in landscape for landscapes and groups. The stand is a frameless picture frame made of crystal-clear PLEXIGLAS® XT, 2.0 mm thick; the picture fills the surface edge to edge, without frame, backing board or clips.
Construction and handling: Base and pane are one single bent piece, the footprint measures roughly 13 x 6.5 cm. To insert a picture, slide it in from the top behind the inclined pane until it sits on the lower edge; it holds without clips and can be swapped just as quickly. Four anti-slip feet under the base keep the stand in place. At 80 g the stand is light enough for the windowsill and stable enough for the desk.
Material: The pane is made of original PLEXIGLAS® XT, an acrylic glass that is UV-stable and does not yellow. It lets through more light than window glass and is considerably more break-resistant. The edges are diamond-polished, so crystal clear instead of milky. A soft cloth and water are all it takes to care for it; cleaners containing alcohol or abrasives attack the surface and do not belong on acrylic glass.
Typical applications: The small format belongs where large frames get in the way: next to the keyboard, on the bedside cabinet, on the bookshelf between the spines. Fitted with a photo, the stand is a gift that can be set up straight away. In the shop it holds price tags and product notes, in the café the menu of the day or the QR code to the menu, at weddings the table numbers.
The right size: 13 x 9 cm is the landscape version of the 9 x 13 cm stand and takes the small standard print in landscape; next to keyboard or phone it needs hardly more space than a notepad. The 3:2 range comprises 13 x 9, 15 x 10, 17 x 11, 18 x 13, 30 x 20 and 45 x 30 cm. Phone photos in 4:3 landscape format fit the sizes from 11 x 9 to 40 x 30 cm.
