Photo Stand 17 x 13 cm Made of PLEXIGLAS in Landscape Format, a Frameless Acrylic Picture Frame

The photo stand 17 x 13 cm is a landscape format in the 4:3 aspect ratio, the standard format of smartphone cameras and compact cameras. 17 x 13 cm is the landscape counterpart of the 13 x 17 print and shows landscapes one step larger. The stand is a frameless picture frame made of crystal-clear PLEXIGLAS^® XT, 2.0 mm thick; the picture fills the surface edge to edge, without frame, backing board or clips.

Construction and handling: Base and pane are one single bent piece, the footprint measures roughly 17 x 7.5 cm. To insert a picture, slide it in from the top behind the inclined pane until it sits on the lower edge; it holds without clips and can be swapped just as quickly. Four anti-slip feet under the base keep the stand in place. At 138 g it stands calmly on sideboard and counter too, without tipping.

Material: PLEXIGLAS^® is the original among acrylic glasses. It is UV-stable, does not yellow even after years by the window and is considerably more break-resistant than glass of the same thickness. The edges are diamond-polished and shine like ground glass; fingerprints wipe off with a soft cloth and a little water. Avoid glass cleaners containing alcohol and abrasive agents, and the pane stays permanently clear.

Typical applications: At home the stand sits on sideboard, shelf and chest of drawers, where a family photo or the picture from the last holiday finds its place without drilling or nails. As a gift for a birth, a wedding or an anniversary, a single print becomes a finished present. In retail and hospitality the same stand keeps notice and promotion cards ready on counter and table, photographers use it to present proof prints, and at events it carries place cards or the guests' photos.

The right size: 17 x 13 cm is the landscape version of the 13 x 17 cm stand and the largest 4:3 size that still fits on a desk; above it come 27 x 20 and 40 x 30 cm for sideboard and shop. The 4:3 range comprises 11 x 9, 13 x 10, 15 x 11, 17 x 13, 27 x 20 and 40 x 30 cm. For prints from DSLR and mirrorless cameras in 3:2 landscape format there are sizes from 13 x 9 to 45 x 30 cm.
