Photo Stand 9 x 13 cm Made of PLEXIGLAS, a Frameless Acrylic Picture Frame for Small Prints in Portrait Format

The photo stand 9 x 13 cm is made for the smallest of the classic photo prints, 9 x 13 cm: the portrait format in the 2:3 aspect ratio produced by 35 mm film, DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The stand is a frameless picture frame made of crystal-clear PLEXIGLAS^® XT, 2.0 mm thick. The photo fills the surface edge to edge; there is no frame, no backing board and no clips. All you see is the picture itself, carried by a pane that almost disappears in the room.

Construction and handling: The photo stand is bent from a single piece and needs a footprint of roughly 9 x 6.5 cm. The base carries four anti-slip feet, the inclined pane holds the picture: the print slides in from the top behind the pane and rests on the lower edge by itself. Changing it takes a few seconds and needs no tools. At 74 g the stand is light enough for the windowsill and stable enough for the desk.

Material: PLEXIGLAS^® is the original among acrylic glasses. It is UV-stable, does not yellow even after years by the window and is considerably more break-resistant than glass of the same thickness. The edges are diamond-polished and shine like ground glass; fingerprints wipe off with a soft cloth and a little water. Avoid glass cleaners containing alcohol and abrasive agents, and the pane stays permanently clear.

Typical applications: On the desk, the bedside table and the windowsill the small stand takes up little space and keeps a favourite photo within reach. As a small gift, a single print and the stand become a finished present. In retail the same format carries price and notice cards on counter and shelf, in hospitality place cards and notices about Wi-Fi or payment options, and at parties name and place cards.

The right size: 9 x 13 cm is the smallest standard print and stands upright here; for the same picture in landscape there is the 13 x 9 cm stand. The 2:3 range comprises 9 x 13, 10 x 15, 11 x 17, 13 x 18, 20 x 30 and 30 x 45 cm. For phone photos in 3:4 portrait format there are sizes from 9 x 11 to 30 x 40 cm, for phone videos and stories the 9:16 format.
