The picture stand 20 x 20 cm is the square in the 1:1 aspect ratio, the format of Instagram pictures, square prints and medium-format photographs. 20 x 20 cm is the square for art prints and photo prints that are meant to make an impression on the sideboard. The stand is a frameless picture frame made of crystal-clear PLEXIGLAS® XT, 2.0 mm thick; the picture fills the surface edge to edge, without frame, backing board or clips.
Construction and handling: Base and pane are one single bent piece, the footprint measures roughly 20 x 7.5 cm. To insert a picture, slide it in from the top behind the inclined pane until it sits on the lower edge; it holds without clips and can be swapped just as quickly. Four anti-slip feet under the base keep the stand in place. At 242 g it stands calmly on sideboard and counter too, without tipping.
Material: PLEXIGLAS® is the original among acrylic glasses. It is UV-stable, does not yellow even after years by the window and is considerably more break-resistant than glass of the same thickness. The edges are diamond-polished and shine like ground glass; fingerprints wipe off with a soft cloth and a little water. Avoid glass cleaners containing alcohol and abrasive agents, and the pane stays permanently clear.
Typical applications: At this size the stand is an eye-catcher on chest of drawers, sideboard and mantelpiece, replacing a wall picture without any drilling. Art prints, posters and large photo prints can be changed at any time. In the shop it carries promotion posters and collection images, at reception and at trade fairs notices and welcome boards, at weddings the welcome sign or the seating plan.
