Picture Stand 30 x 45 cm Made of PLEXIGLAS, a Frameless Acrylic Picture Frame in Portrait Format

The picture stand 30 x 45 cm is made for large-format 30 x 45 cm prints as photo services deliver them for wall pictures: the portrait format in the 2:3 aspect ratio produced by 35 mm film, DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The stand is a frameless picture frame made of crystal-clear PLEXIGLAS^® XT, 4.0 mm thick. The photo fills the surface edge to edge; there is no frame, no backing board and no clips. All you see is the picture itself, carried by a pane that almost disappears in the room.

Construction and handling: Base and pane are one single bent piece, the footprint measures roughly 30 x 15.5 cm. To insert a picture, slide it in from the top behind the inclined pane until it sits on the lower edge; it holds without clips and can be swapped just as quickly. Four anti-slip feet under the base keep the stand in place. At 1,140 g and 4.0 mm material thickness it stands securely even at this size, without tipping or swaying.

Material: PLEXIGLAS^® is the original among acrylic glasses. It is UV-stable, does not yellow even after years by the window and is considerably more break-resistant than glass of the same thickness. The edges are diamond-polished and shine like ground glass; fingerprints wipe off with a soft cloth and a little water. Avoid glass cleaners containing alcohol and abrasive agents, and the pane stays permanently clear.

Typical applications: At this size the stand is an eye-catcher on chest of drawers, sideboard and mantelpiece, replacing a wall picture without any drilling. Art prints, posters and large photo prints can be changed at any time. In the shop it carries promotion posters and collection images, at reception and at trade fairs notices and welcome boards, at weddings the welcome sign or the seating plan.

The right size: 30 x 45 cm is the largest portrait stand in the range; at 4.0 mm the pane is twice as thick as in the small sizes so that it stands straight at this height. For landscape there is the 45 x 30 cm stand. The 2:3 range comprises 9 x 13, 10 x 15, 11 x 17, 13 x 18, 20 x 30 and 30 x 45 cm. For phone photos in 3:4 portrait format there are sizes from 9 x 11 to 30 x 40 cm, for phone videos and stories the 9:16 format.
