A menu cover is the first thing your guests pick up — which makes it say a great deal about the house. Here you will find menu covers, clipboards and bill presenters for hospitality, hotels and retail, largely from the Securit range.
Printed or plain? This is the key decision before buying. Covers with a gold „Menu" print or an embossed lettering look classic and are recognisable at a glance — but they fix what the cover is for. Plain covers without any print stay flexible: the same cover carries the food menu today and the drinks list, wine list or ice cream menu tomorrow. Anyone running several kinds of list, or changing them by season, is better served with plain covers. A third option carries a symbol instead of text — knife, fork and glass, so it works in any language.
Formats. A4 is the standard for the food menu. A5 suits table stands and compact lists. There is also a narrow upright format with A4 height and A5 width, which has become established for drinks, wine and cocktail lists because it takes up less room on a laid table while staying easy to read.
Materials and features. The choice runs from repurposed leather through teak wooden spines with brass corners to natural fibre and cork textures. Many covers expand with additional inserts — from four pages up to forty. Wipe-clean and waterproof surfaces cope with a damp cloth during service.
